Senior Database SQL Analyst / Marketing / Programmer
LWS Media is a leading global provider of consulting, technologies, solution, and services.
Responsibilities:
 College graduate with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in direct mail marketing is required. This experience can include database marketing, list strategies, direct mail analytics, direct mail modeling, direct mail campaign management, or other relevant experience along with list coding experience.
Proven analytical skills
Must be very organized
Must have strong MS Office skills.
Direct Marketing experience preferred with direct mail list preparation a must
Good understanding of database design, data flows and methodologies to converse with IT partners and to manage data quality
Familiarity with all the following data processes required:
Merge/Purge
Data Hygiene / Data Cleansing
List Segmentation
File Manipulation and conversion
Advanced knowledge in writing and analyzing SQL queries
Detail-oriented with excellent planning, documentation and organizational skills
Self-starter, team-oriented
Ability to work on multiple projects within a multi-team environment, including strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize own workload to meet delivery dates.
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant analytic and reporting experience.
Experience in analyzing campaign/consumer data, ROI, and margin analysis/modeling.
Effective problem solving skills.
Experience with MOM (Mail Order Manager) is a plus
Requirements:
The Direct Marketing SQL Data Analyst will play a critical role in executing major marketing campaigns by using database tools to create direct mail and email lists.
The Analyst will apply models and selection criteria to create new campaigns within the database, extract lists and use the system to update records with contact data.
This person will create new marketing campaigns within the marketing database; design and test sell plans and create promotional codes.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or a social science major with a strongly analytical component and 2-4 years of related experience.
Strong database, data analysis, especially regression analysis, statistical modeling experience is required. Ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication and problem solving skills are required.
