Senior PHP Web Developer
LWS Media is looking for a PHP/HTML/JAVA MySQL e-commerce expert. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a foundation with a growing US based company. The primary tasks will include all aspects of website and ecommerce development. Excellent proficiency in building shopping carts from start to finish as well as building online content management tools are essential. Responsibilities:
 Architect and develop an entire ecommerce site from product catalog, product management to order fullfilment.
Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
Extensive development experience working on E-Commerce applications that interact with MySQL databases.
Proposing and driving news tools, scripts, and metrics.
Maintaining and updating shopping cart, tools, and scripts as the product, real-time environment, and business needs evolve.
Must be able to develop cutting edge features starting with gathering requirements, architecting, and then building either independently or with the team.
Ensure quality assurance and test
Requirements:
The candidate must have a B.S. in Design/Computer Science or equivalent work experience, with at least 4-5 years developing real-world web sites that conduct transactions and generate revenue.
Ideal candidates will have a well-balanced mix of design and development, knowledge of user-based, sales-driven layout, and a flair for scripting and programming.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Required skill(s): Apache/MySQL/HTML.
At least 3-4 years experience in PHP. Knowledge in Photoshop and Dreamweaver is a plus. Must have an experience in e-commerce, portals, online shopping carts, payment gateways, content management, B2B and other web-based applications.
Develop, install and implement application systems; perform analysis, planning, development, coding and maintenance of application systems.
Highly-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Technical Skills:
 Strong knowledge of PHP HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript/Ajax.
Intimate knowledge of working with and setting up shopping carts, forms, online catalogs, and cookies
Expertise in developing keyword search & content management applications
Experience working with MySQL/SQL, or similar databases
Working knowledge of security and encryption on the Internet (SSL), as well as online payment transactions via merchant services (credit cards)
