ASP Web Developer for E-commerce Site
LWS Media, a leading provider of web and IT solutions in the US, is looking for an ASP/HTML/SQL Hybrid. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a foundation with a growing US based company. The primary tasks will include all aspects of website and ecommerce development. Such tasks include coding pre-made website templates to developing web based applications using ASP. Excellent proficiency in building shopping carts from start to finish as well as creating site management tools are essential. If you're enthusiastic, self reliant, excellent at meeting deadlines, then this job is for you. This position is only for nightshift hours, from 12:00am - 9:00am Tuesday to Saturday.
Responsibilities:
 Writes clean and well-documented code that adheres to the team's coding standards and procedures.
Ensures that the site conforms to client's functional specifications and provides adequate coverage of required content.
Tests for multiple browsers, confirms layouts, links, and accessibility.
Coordinate with other team members in all stages of the entire software development life cycle, from design and implementation to testing process and to maintenance.
Develop web applications using ASP//SQL Server under strict deadlines.
Modifies existing applications to bring them up to current standards.
Makes approved changes by amending program flow charts and coding changes.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Good (oral and written) English communication and presentation skills would be needed in communicating to client
Applicants must have at least 2 years experience in ASP programming and familiar and already developed an e-Commerce site.
Must have at least of 2-4 years experience in MSSQL Server backend development such as setting up databases, CMS implementation or implementing business logic.
Must have strong data access skills, the ability to understand database structures and able to construct complex, efficient SQL queries in Stored Procedure.
Must be patient and have the ability to debug, troubleshoot, test and handle several change requests.
Ability to work both independently as well as within teams in a high growth fast-paced environment and has the ability to share ideas and interact with other developers.
Must be a good team player, fast learner and can work under minimum supervision
Ability to work on multiple concurrent development projects (including secure shopping carts, web content management tool, etc.) within a short lead time.
Must be hardworking, self-motivated, dedicated and experienced Web Application developer. He/she will work with remote and on-site developers, create and maintain a world-class and web-based application.
Must have knowledge with all aspects of website production and server setup.
Applicants must be willing to work in Pasig City.
Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Willing to work night shift
